REFUGEE WORKSHOP 2011

Topic:Working Together to Support Refugees
The Malaysian Social Research Institute (MSRI) is pleased to invite you to a workshop that will interest you. The refugee workshop "Working Together to Support Refugees", which is being held at D`Villa Residence, is free of charge, but space is limited so please confirm your participation no later than 2nd of June by email to yolanda@msri.org.my.
Only registered participants will be admitted.
The workshop will include:
- A brief introductory session of participating organizations;
- Talks on a) Role and work processes of the UNHCR in Malaysia, and b) Update on relevant research, including launch of "On the Way to Exile";
- Refugees sharing the experiences of their communities; and
- Parallel group sessions and discussion.
All these talks will have a special emphasis on non Southeast Asian Refugees (Non-SEA-Refugees).
