Dear Friends,

There is a unique opportunity now for the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon to get some basic civil rights, such as access to education and health care. This initiative in no way is impeding their Right of Return. To have such civil rights will give the ca. 400,000 Palestinians in Lebanon, particularly the children in the camps who are 4th generation refugees a bit of hope for a better future.

So please put your name on and sign the below mentioned online petition. Please also circulate the petition to all of your friends so that a sufficient number of signatures show that we all care.

Let's help to give the no-hope generation of the Palestinian children in Lebanon a more positive outlook for an otherwise very bleak future; the idea, that the deprived situation they, their families, and future generations are in can change for the better.

We at MSRI/Sponsorship of Palestinian Children urge you to sign and circulate this petition! It involves an innovative  twinning intiative. Each signer will be twinned with a person living in a Palestinian refugee camp located in Lebanon. The number of signers required to secure a personal twinning with each refugee is 433,000.

Please also express your views to those who govern Lebanon and to the persons living in refugee camps. Civil rights should not be denied to any refugees!.
