Palestinian Film Festival and Charity Dinner for the benefit of Palestinian Refugees in Nahr El-Bared
MSRI, in collaboration with Kelab Seni Filem Malaysia, and with the cooperation of HELP University College, is organizing a Palestinian Film Festival to commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people this month. The Palestinian Film Festival with special focus on films about Palestinians in Lebanon by Mai Masri, a renowned and award-winning film director and producer, will be held at HELP University College, Main Block, BZ-2, Pusat Bandar Damansara, 50590 Kuala Lumpur from 14-18 November 2007.
Below are the titles and screening schedule of the films that will be shown each day at 8.00 p.m. It’s open to the public and admittance is free. Donations of course, will be welcome.

The screening on the 17th is a special night with the film director Mai Masri in attendance at a charity dinner held at the Lower Foyer, Main Block, HELP University College after the screening. Those interested to attend will have to pay a minimum of RM150.00 per seat. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued for all donations (JHDN 01/35/42/51/179-6.716).
The collection of the Charity Dinner is for the people of the refugee camp of Nahr el-Bared in Lebanon, which was completely destroyed recently, to help them cope with the coming winter.
