Sahabat Support Center
The Malaysian Social Research Institute (MSRI) is
collecting items for the SAHABAT Support Centre that
will officially open its doors in January 2011 to
support refugees living in Kuala Lumpur. The center will
offer classes for adults and children, a library, a
meeting room,and IT facilities.
We need your support to set up the center and would be
grateful if you can DONATE the following items
(new or used).
CLASSROOM & MEETING ROOM: Chairs, desks,
computers, printers, white boards, bookshelves, books
and magazines, office and school supplies.
KITCHEN: Stove, refrigerator, dishes, bowls,
glasses, cups, pots & pans, kitchen table and chairs,
cleaning items.
CHILDREN: Toys, dolls, stuffed animals, art &
craft supplies, boar games, children books.
OTHERS: Decorations, plants, pictures, air
conditioners, fans and phones.
Do you have a skill to share? Language, Art, Dance,
Computer, and Music are areas we can use you to help
educate refugees. We are looking for VOLUNTEERS.
