The SAHABAT Refugee Mentoring Programme is an initiative launched by the Malaysian Social Research Institute (MSRI).

It is a programme designed to match local people in a one-to-one or in a group mentoring relationship with refugees with the goal of making refugees feel more at home in Malaysia.

What is Mentoring?

Mentoring is a mutual beneficial relationship where one person invests time and personal knowledge in assisting, sharing experience, guiding and supporting the growth and ability of another person towards achieving goals.
